“Ampelokipi” is one of the more fortunate areas of Athens in terms of
public transport. The nearest metro station and bus stations are only a
step away while the search for a taxi is a piece of cake and the use of it
is very economicall since most of the destinations are only 5 to 10
minutes away.
Ampelokipi is a lively area with a lot of traditional taverns and
international restaurants (Friday’s, Applebee’s), bars, cinemas and
theaters, Super Markets and even a street market where you can buy
fresh products at very reasonable prices.
